Product description

Craspedia globosa, known as billy buttons, billy balls, and woollyheads, is a lovely annual plant in the Asteraceae family, native to Australia and New Zealand. It grows up to 60-70 cm tall, forming dense grass-like clumps. The most ornamental part of billy buttons is its flowers. It flowers in summer, producing spherical inflorescences 2-3 cm in diameter on the tops of stiff, leafless stems . These inflorescences consist of tiny, intense yellow flowers.

Billy ball are not only beautiful but also very durable. Cut flowers can remain fresh in a vase for up to two weeks. When dried, they also look great and can be used to create dry bouquets and floral compositions.

Whitened dried craspedia is an unusual plant that looks extraordinary both as a stand-alone decoration and as part of floral compositions. Its almost white colour adds lightness and elegance to arrangements.

The dried craspedia is packed in 15 pieces.
