Dried Damascus Nigella (Nigella Damascena) – Bleached
Dried Damascus Nigella (Nigella Damascena) – Bleached
Product description
Damascus nigella (Nigella damascena), also known as love-in-a-mist or devil in the bush, is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region and Western Asia. It belongs to the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). The name “Nigella” refers to the colour of the seeds, which are hidden inside the fruits. The seeds are known for their medicinal properties. Nigella damascena is a honey-producing plant. The most common flower colour is blue, but other varieties also include white and pink. Because they stay fresh in water for a long time, Nigella damascena is often used in floral arrangements.
The fruits of nigella are oval, with thin and pointed projections at the top. Dried nigella adds an interesting and unusual touch to any arrangement.
Dried bleached nigella damascena is offered in the form of a bouquet.
Notes: The colour of the presented product may differ slightly from the colour in the photo. This is due to the technical differences of the displays on which the products are viewed.
