Fennel belongs to the celery family. It is native to the Mediterranean region, but can also be found in Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Fennel is well-known for its culinary and health benefits. In addition, its unique appearance has also been appreciated in the world of floristry. The vibrant yellow flowers are gathered at the tops of the stems in compound umbels. When dried, they curl upwards and close. Dried bleached fennel can be used as a standalone decoration or can be incorporated into a more complex arrangement of dried flowers.
