Dried Ruscus – Green

Dried Ruscus – Green
Product description
Ruscus, also known as butcher’s broom, belongs to the asparagus family. It is an evergreen plant. The stems of ruscus are densely covered with cladodes, which are often mistaken for leaves. The true leaves of the ruscus are tiny and scaly. From the cladodes, or ‘leaves’, grow tiny flowers, which then develop into small, round, red fruits. Dried butcher’s broom leaves are prickly, so be careful when working with them.
Its spreading form allows it to be used as a stand-alone decoration or as part of a composition. Dried ruscus is perfect for modern arrangements, lofts or eclectic interiors. It goes perfectly with other preserved and dried flowers.
Notes: The colour of the presented product may slightly differ from the colour in the photo. This is due to technical differences in the displays on which the products are viewed.
Specification
Specific features
Dried ruscus is a natural product, the following characteristics may be present:
- irregular sieze and shape of branches;
- bent leaves or small signs of damage on them;
- slight variations in shade among individual batches.
The product is packaged by weight, therefore the number of branches in each bunch may vary.
Conditions of use
Dried flowers do not require any special care, however, in order to keep their colour and shape for as long as possible, follow these recommendations:
- do not expose them to direct sunlight. Colours fade in the sun and lose their attractive appearance;
- keep them away from sources of heat;
- avoid contact of dried flowers with water – do not water or spray;
- remember it that dried flowers may break or crumble, so handle them gently.
