Ferns are a group of leafy plants that have existed on Earth for over 360 million years. Worldwide, there are about 11,000 species of ferns, and they can be found in a variety of environments, from tropical forests to swamps and rocky slopes. Ferns are extremely diverse in size and shape—ranging from small plants growing on rocks to giant tree ferns reaching up to 20 meters in height. Ferns reproduce using spores, as they do not have flowers or seeds. Their leaves are usually large and feathery, growing from an underground rhizome, which is the stem.
Preserved Davallia fern looks great as an element of a green wall, panel, or picture made of preserved moss. This fern will work wonderfully in a vase as a standalone decoration or accompanied by other preserved and dried plants.

- avoid contact of preserved plants with water – do not water or spray;
- remember that preserved plants can break or become brittle, so handle them gently;
- do not use for outdoor decoration.
