Preserved Lepidium PN® – Red

Preserved Lepidium PN® – Red
Product description
Lepidium, known as peppercress, peppergrass, pepperweed, and pepperwort, is a plant from the mustard family that naturally occurs in warm and temperate regions. Some species form distinctive ball-shaped branches that tumble across open landscapes. Meanwhile, garden cress and its young shoots are widely known and used as a popular edible herb.
Lepidium is characterized by its tiny, round leaves delicately surrounding the branches. The stabilization process gives the plant a softer texture and greater durability compared to its dried form. Its airy structure and red hue make it perfect for filling bouquets, wreaths, garlands, and decorative floral arrangements. The delicate leaves and branches also work beautifully in smaller decorative pieces.
Thanks to its resemblance to heather and heath plants, preserved Lepidium looks especially stunning in autumn-inspired compositions. It is a versatile decorative plant that adds a unique touch while enhancing the natural character of any arrangement.

Specification
Specific features
Preserved Lepidium is a natural product, the following characteristics may be present:
- irregular size and shape of stems;
- bent or broken stems;
- individual batches may vary slightly in shade.
The product is packaged by weight, therefore the number of stems in each bouquet may vary.
Before you start working with the plant, it is recommended to use steam (for example, with a garment steamer) to soften the stems and restore their volume.
Conditions of use
Preserved plants do not require any special care, however, in order to keep their colour and shape for as long as possible, you should follow these recommendations:
- do not expose them to direct sunlight. Colours fade in the sun and lose their attractive appearance;
- keep them away from sources of heat;
- avoid contact of preserved plants with water – do not water or spray;
- remember that preserved plants can break or become brittle, so handle them gently;
- do not use for outdoor decoration.
