The European olive (Olea europaea) originates from the Mediterranean Basin, where it has been cultivated for over 4,000 years. Olive trees are renowned for their exceptional longevity. The olive tree is a fascinating plant with a rich history, symbolism, and numerous uses.
Olive leaves have an elongated, lanceolate shape that tapers gently towards the tip. The upper side of the leaf displays a deep shade of green, while the underside is subtly silvery.
