Product description
Papyrus (Cyperus papyrus) comes from Africa. In ancient Egypt, papyrus was used to make paper, while Cyperus papyrus is called Nile grass. Papyrus grows naturally in wetlands. Different varieties can reach heights from a few dozen centimeters to several meters. Papyrus has long, slender, smooth, and green stems. The grass-like leaves cluster at the tops of the stems, forming umbrella-shaped rosettes. Because of the height of the stems, preserved papyrus looks beautiful and exotic on its own in tall vases. It’s also perfect for large arrangements.

Preserved papyrus is a natural product, the following characteristics may be present:
- irregular size and shape of stems and leaves;
- bent or slightly damaged leaves;
- individual batches may vary slightly in shade.
Conditions of use
Preserved plants do not require any special care, however, in order to keep their colour and shape for as long as possible, you should follow these recommendations:
- do not expose them to direct sunlight. Colours fade in the sun and lose their attractive appearance;
- keep them away from sources of heat;
- avoid contact of preserved plants with water – do not water or spray;
- remember that preserved plants can break or become brittle, so handle them gently;
- do not use for outdoor decoration.
