Preserved Ruscus – Light Blue
Preserved Ruscus – Light Blue
Product description
Ruscus, also known as butcher’s broom, is a plant of the asparagus family, delightful in its evergreen nature and shrubby habit. The stems of the ruscus are covered with numerous cladodes, often mistaken for leaves. The true leaves of the plant are tiny and scaly. Small flowers grow from the branches, which then develop into small, round, red fruit.
Preserved ruscus is very popular in floristry. Due to its stabilisation, it retains a beautiful, fresh appearance for a long time, making it ideal for creating long-lasting compositions. The spreading form of the plant makes it perfect as a stand-alone decoration. Preserved ruscus creates unique compositions with dried and preserved plants. Ruscus is a versatile plant that can be used to create all sorts of compositions, working perfectly as a stand-alone decoration, as well as part of bouquets, garlands and other floral arrangements. Light blue preserved ruscus blends perfectly with white flowers to create subtle and romantic bouquets. Blue is associated with freshness and coolness, so it is perfect for summer compositions. Adding blue flowers to a bouquet can liven it up and give it a summer feel.
