Preserved Ruscus – Red
Preserved Ruscus – Red
Product description
Ruscus, also known as butcher’s broom, is a unique plant in the asparagus family, delighting in its evergreen nature and shrubby habit. The stems are covered with numerous cladodes, often mistaken for leaves. The true leaves are tiny and scaly. The cladodes give rise to small flowers, which develop into red fruits.
Ruscus is extremely popular in floristry. Thanks to stabilisation, it retains a beautiful appearance for a long time, ideally suited to permanent compositions. Its spreading form makes it an excellent stand-alone decoration. Preserved ruscus can be combined with dried, preserved and live plants to create unique floral arrangements. The red preserved ruscus immediately catches the eye and gives the arrangements power and expressiveness. It is perfect as the main theme of a bouquet or as a strong colour accent. Red blends well with many other colours, creating striking contrasts. It can be combined with neutral colours such as white or green to create a more subdued decors.
