Preserved Ruscus – Whitened
Preserved Ruscus – Whitened
Product description
Ruscus is also known as butcher’s broom. It is a unique plant from the asparagus family that impresses with its evergreen nature and shrubby habit. The stems of ruscus are covered with numerous cladodes, often mistaken for leaves. True ruscus leaves are tiny and scaly. Tiny ruscus flowers grow from the cladodes, which then develop into tiny red fruits.
Ruscus is popular in floristry. Thanks to its stabilisation, the plant retains its beautiful fresh appearance for a long time. This makes it ideal for creating long-lasting arrangements. The spreading form of ruscus makes it perfect as a stand-alone decoration. Preserved ruscus can be combined with dried and preserved plants as well as with live flowers to create unique floral arrangements. Bleached ruscus is ideal for bridal bouquets, occasional decorations (baptism, Communion) or elegant and minimalist flower compositions. The white colour is a classic and elegant way to liven up any room.
