Product description
The strawberry tree (Arbutus unedo), also known as chorleywood , is a perennial plant from the heather family. It naturally grows in the Mediterranean, Western Europe, and Asia. Its leaves are lance-shaped, evergreen, glossy, and sit on short petioles. The underside of the leaf is light green with burgundy veins. Leaves grow spirally, so both sides will be visible in a bouquet. The round, orange-red fruits have a tart taste and a mealy flesh.
Preserved strawberry tree leaves are a lovely element in floral arrangements. Their green colour looks great in a vase alone or in a bouquet. The leaves can also be used in wreaths and crowns.
