Product description
Swedish reindeer moss comes from legal plantations in the forests of northern Sweden. The clumps of Swedish reindeer moss are smaller and shorter than those of Finnish reindeer moss. Swedish reindeer moss is an untreated product, i.e. it contains the root layer and fragments of the groundcover such as needles, pinecones or small twigs. The Swedish reindeer moss is not put loosely into the box, but are in compact pieces.
Preserved Swedish reindeer moss, once cleaned, is perfect for any decorative work such as green walls, panels, logos, paintings, etc.
This offer is for natural preserved Swedish reindeer moss. It only undergoes a stabilisation process that makes it flexible, but does not change its colour. The natural reindeer moss is a remarkable decorative element.
In the box there is approx. 5 kg of reindeer moss arranged in two layers. This amount is enough to cover approx. 0,65 m2.

Specific features
Reindeer Moss is a natural product, the following features may be present:
- irregular shape and texture of the moss;
- presence of needles;
- uneven colouring;
- individual batches may vary in shade.
NOTE!
Due to the differences in shades from batch to batch, it is advisable to open all packs and mix the contents. This will ensure that the colour is evenly distributed on the work surface and that the visual effect is more natural.
The product is packaged by weight, however, depending on the humidity level, the weight of the product may vary.
Conditions of use
Preserved reindeer moss do not require any special care, however, in order to keep their colour and shape for as long as possible, you should follow these recommendations:
- do not expose it to direct sunlight. Colours fade in the sun and lose its attractive appearance;
- keep it away from sources of heat;
- avoid contact of preserved moss with water – do not water or spray;
- remember that preserved moss can break or become brittle, so handle them gently;
- do not use for outdoor decoration.
