Melaleuca, commonly known as the tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), is a tree species native to Australia and belongs to the myrtle family. Its leaves are used to produce essential oil (tea tree oil), known for its beneficial properties.
The stems of the tea tree resemble conifer branches. The leaves are flat, narrow, flexible, and densely cover the stems on all sides.
Thanks to the stabilization process, tea tree branches maintain a fresh and natural appearance for a long time. They are perfect for use in arrangements with dried and preserved plants. They can also serve as a non-prickly alternative to conifer branches in Christmas decorations.
Preserved tea tree leaves are offered in the form of a bouquet.

Preserved plants do not require any special care, however, in order to keep their colour and shape for as long as possible, you should follow these recommendations:
- do not expose them to direct sunlight. Colours fade in the sun and lose their attractive appearance;
- keep them away from sources of heat;
- avoid contact of preserved plants with water – do not water or spray;
- remember that preserved plants can break or become brittle, so handle them gently;
- do not use for outdoor decoration.
