Banksja coccinea, also known as Scarlet Banksia, is a shrub from the Proteaceae family native to Western Australia. It can grow up to 4 meters tall. The flower clusters are orange or red and are significantly smaller than those of its cousins, Banksja prionotes and Banksja hookeriana. The leaves are also different – they are not long and slender, but wide and slightly serrated at the edges.
