Asparagus plumosus, also known as the feathery asparagus (Asparagus setaceus), is a climbing plant native to South Africa. It is a popular houseplant due to its delicate, feathery foliage and ease of cultivation.
Although it is commonly called a fern (asparagus fern), it is only similar to ferns in appearance. Asparagus plumosus has needle-like, green leaves that grow in clusters along the stems. In spring, it produces small white flowers, but they are not particularly showy.
Stabilized asparagus plumosus has a beautiful, natural green colour. It is perfect as greenery for bouquets with dried and preserved plants. It can be used for projects such as wreaths, greeting cards, invitations, and decorative models.
