Preserved Echinops (Globe Thistle Flower) – Green

Preserved Echinops (Globe Thistle Flower) – Green
Product description
Globe Thistle (Echinops) is a genus of plants in the Asteraceae family. The name comes from the Greek word echinos, which means hedgehog, and refers to the spiky inflorescences of this plant. Globe thistles are grown as ornamental and honey-bearing plants. Their flowers are attractive to pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Echinops are also used for medicinal purposes.
Globe thistle has stiff, spiky stems and feathery leaves. The flowers of the echinops are gathered in spherical inflorescences with a diameter of 2 to 5 cm. The characteristic inflorescences resemble thistles – hence their English name globe thistles.
The offer concerns a bouquet of preserved echinops with a length of about 70 cm and a weight of 250 g – 300 g. Each bouquet contains about 12 – 16 globes.
The stabilized globe thistle can be placed in a vase as a stand-alone decoration or in combination with other stabilized or dried flowers and grasses.
