Preserved Loquat
Preserved Loquat
Product description
Loquat, also known as Japanese medlar, Japanese quince, or biba (Eriobotrya japonica), is a species of tree belonging to the Rosaceae family. It boasts a broad, spreading crown adorned with large, dark green leaves. Loquat trees grace gardens with their fragrant white blossoms in late autumn or winter. These blooms give way to delectable yellow or orange fruits, shaped like small plums, which ripen in late autumn or winter.
Loquat’s evergreen leaves, measuring approximately 10-25 centimeters in length, exhibit a lanceolate form. Their edges are serrated, and the leaf surface is thick, leathery, and covered with delicate hairs, imparting a distinctive matte appearance. Through a stabilization process, loquat leaves retain their shape and colour for an extended period.
Please note: The colour of the product may differ slightly from the picture due to technical differences in displays.
