Product description
Mosses are peculiar organisms that lack the typical plant structure of stems, leaves or roots. They can be found in shady, moist places. They are most commonly found in forests and on rocks. Pole moss, goes by many names: ball moss or cushion/pillow moss.
Ball moss is commonly used to make paintings, panels or walls with preserved mosses. Its shape is very distinctive. It has a compact, convex structure and resembles a low, smooth dome. Its irregular shape and size are its greatest assets, as this provides a natural looking work and a versatile application. Our cushion moss ranges from 5 to 17 cm in diameter.
Preserved ball moss is an original Preserved Nature product.
The box contains approximately 1 m2 of dark green pole moss.
Box dimensions: 80 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm

Specific features
Ball moss is a natural product and the following features may be present:
- irregular shape and texture of the moss;
- individual batches may vary slightly in shade.
Moss is packaged taking into account the area it should cover -the size and number of moss fragments in individual boxes may vary.
Conditions of use
Preserved ball moss do not require any special care, however, in order to keep their colour and shape for as long as possible, you should follow these recommendations:
- do not expose it to direct sunlight. Colours fade in the sun and lose its attractive appearance;
- keep it away from sources of heat;
- avoid contact of preserved moss with water – do not water or spray;
- remember that preserved moss can break or become brittle, so handle them gently;
- do not use for outdoor decoration.
