Reindeer ball moss is a variety of reindeer moss, distinguished by its bushy structure reminiscent of Finnish and Swedish reindeer moss. A characteristic feature of reindeer ball moss is the expanded clumps without ‘domes‘, which makes it easier to apply to larger areas than other types of this lichen. Reindder ball moss impresses with its unusual form, which is an interesting alternative to the classic reindeer moss. Reindeer Moss is a natural product, the following features may be present:
- irregular shape and texture of the moss;

- individual batches may vary in shade.

Due to the differences in shades from batch to batch, it is advisable to open all packs and mix the contents. This will ensure that the colour is evenly distributed on the work surface and that the visual effect is more natural.
Conditions of use
Preserved reindeer moss do not require any special care, however, in order to keep their colour and shape for as long as possible, you should follow these recommendations:
- do not expose it to direct sunlight. Colours fade in the sun and lose its attractive appearance;
- keep it away from sources of heat;
- avoid contact of preserved moss with water – do not water or spray;
- remember that preserved moss can break or become brittle, so handle them gently;
- do not use for outdoor decoration.
